We’re looking for an experienced Application Support / Technical Consultant to take the lead of a project for an established company in logistics.

Location: Praha
Start: ASAP
Project length: until 14.1.2020, with possible expansion

About the project:
The initial focus will be to help design, configure & test the backup &
recovery solution for Oracle RAC on Windows. You will also assist with the
set-up of application operations for a 3rd party mission critical Run service.
Availability and minimal disruption to business continuity must be ensured.
What will you be working on:
- you’ll put a proven backup & recovery strategy in place for the software
- deliver application operation support with the main focus on Incident and
Problem Management
- take ownership of assigned events and incidents until restoration and
collaborate with other support teams and external suppliers
- coordinate activities and communicate with impacted stakeholders
according to the incident management process
- you’ll monitor supported services and systems
- provide continuous improvement of the automated monitoring of the
- execution of operational acceptance test according to the release to
production process
- maintain technical documentation and knowledge of supported

What do you need to know:
- Proficiency in working with databases
- Core Skill: Oracle
- Proficient technical knowledge of Windows server operating system
(2012R2) required
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Server 12c infrastructure required
- Ability to use English in daily communication required, Czech / Slovak not
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 is a plus, as well as:
- Microsoft Internet Information Services 7
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Biztalk Server 2016
- Practical experience in Application Monitoring with e.g. HP OpenView,
Splunk or similar tool
