Our client, a new and dynamic company in the area of citizenship and residence planning, is seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join the current IT team. 

Location: Bratislava / Vienna / Malta, 3 days Home Office, 2 days on-site
Form of cooperation: Full-time contract

About the project: 
Henley & Partners is seeking an Information Security Specialist to join the current Group IT
team, to be the specialist on data and information security matters, focusing on both internal and external threats.
As the Information Security Specialist you will help with planning, implementing and monitoring security controls devised for the protection of H&P information systems and data.

What will you be working on:

- Inventory and Control of Software Assets

- Incident Response and Management

- e-mail Hygiene Systems” (Bitdefender)
- on-premises secure file transfer solution
- on-premises password management
- remote access to desktops (TeamViewer) and servers
- on-premises ticketing systems (Atlassian JIRA)
- on-premises vulnerability scanning (Nessus)
- information security incident response
- providing support both to Group IT teams (system administration & development) and
end-users by managing security-related service tickets
- analyzing logs from antimalware and antispam tools
- investigating reported security issues from end-users
- guiding/directing end-users toward secure use of information resources
- information security auditing - performing planned or ad-hoc checks against security
- information security metrics - maintaining up-to-date inventory of actions, tasks and
controls status
- information security risk assessment - supporting CISO
- information security vulnerability scanning - supporting CISO with scan preparations,
approvals and threat management
- drive project work streams and execution activities as needed by Group IT project plans
and deliverables
- act as a multi-functional team participant while assisting Group IT managers and team
leaders to deliver services to business
- actively participate in various project scoping, delivery, status and execution meetings

What you need to know:
- at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or another
computer-related field
- at least one year of working experience in a similar field, such as incident response,
logging and monitoring, malware defenses, data protection, vulnerability scanning, web
security and helpdesk
- excellent skills with MS Windows desktops - hands-on, configuration & operation
- above the average skills with Linux variants and MS Windows server - hands-on,
configuration & operation
- excellent English written and spoken 
- basic understanding of core security technologies and concepts:
- firewalls (network, application - database, web)
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
