PLC Engineer (21649)

I’m looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with excellent command of English and very good experience with Hi-speed Digital or analog design. As a contractor via CoolPeople you will become a member of global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers who develop flight control PCs, Radars, innovations in the field of Urban Air Mobility and many other “future shape” projects. You will take care to develop new Hi-speed digital designs and modification of already created Hi-speed digital designs. This project also includes mentoring and coaching junior designers. - support digital and analog design

- creation of new Hi-speed digital designs 

- modification of already created Hi-speed digital designs

- analysis and simulation of the design (HyperLynx or similar tool)

- actively participate on design reviews

- participate on reuse activity

- ensure the designs are completed on-time within budget and performance

- project leadership role

- mentoring / Coaching of junior designers

- participation in all phases of the hardware development life cycle

- very good experience with Hi-speed Digital or analog design

- excellent command of English language

- strong oral and written communication skills, ability 

  to conduct technical presentations to customers

- strong organizational skills and analytical ability

- strong problem solving skills; Ability to apply various tools 

  in resolving complex problems

- experience with Mentor Graphics tools is a plus

- good knowledge of engineering documentation

- meet security/export requirements to work on Canadian and US programs

- experience with project in Aerospace
