About the role
- development and operations of Software defined networks components
- continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- close interaction with other Sub-roles of the SDN platform
- support in the setup of SDN APIs and services, bringing together various data sources across distributed environment
- develop automation templates for platform deployments utilizing tools as Ansible and Terraform
- responsible for development and testing of HW/ SW components of the SDN platform
- KPI-Definition and monitoring of related tool or platform-service
- communication with 3rd parties/vendors during tendering process or during definition of SDN platform requirements
- preparation and administration of the technical documentation
- support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing SDN platforms and frameworks
- administer and monitor the Container framework

Your ideal profile
- 2 years of experience within the field
- knowledge of WAN technologies including BGP and other routing protocols, MPLS, tunneling, QoS, and SD-WAN technology
- core Network technologies (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, etc.)
- SDN architecture and technology and experience with open source or commercial SDN controllers
- scripting, preferably shell (Bash), Python and Service orchestration
- virtualization, VPNs, NFV and APIs
- Docker, Docker Image packaging, Container architecture, Microservices architecture pattern
- setting Kubernetes cluster in Cloud and on premises
- Cloud automation with AWS, Azure, OTC and VmWare
- experience with networking in Kubernetes, monitoring and logging with EFK and Prometheus
