DevOps Engineer (22109)

As a contractor via CoolPeople you will set up and maintain the technical environment of digital products and services. You will collaborate with the IT department to deploy and operate systems, help automate and streamline operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring operations, as well as troubleshooting issues in all environments. - maintenance of the private cloud (RedHat OpenShift) infrastructure

- development of the private cloud (RedHat OpenShift) infrastructure as a code

- development of Jenkins pipelines in Groovy

- development and deployment of OpenShift Projects including, build configs, deployment 

  configs, routes, image streams, services, config maps, secrets, persistent volumes

- change Management (for pre-production and production stages)

- configuration Management

- incident and Problem Management support (as a platform owner)

- commissioning, provisioning

- delivery of input for Capacity, Availability and IT Service Continuity Management

- delivering input for SLA Management (reports, improvements,)

- suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.

- evaluate new technology options and vendor products

- B.Sc. in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline

- deep container knowledge (Kubernetes, Openshift or Docker)

- strong background in Linux/Unix Administration

- ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services

- solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment, including automation 

  experience with configuration management tools

- strong scripting (Groovy,Python) and automation skills, Jenkins Pipelines (Groovy)

- advanced Scripting (POSIX, grep, sed, awk, tr, cut, find, tmux, vim)

- experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace)

- basic DB administration experience (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RedisDB)

- experience with Agile software development (DevSecOps, Kanban, Scrum)

- understanding of network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, 

- advanced knowledge of Git

- experience with GitLab

- strong affinity for automation and IaC

- experience with build tools Maven, Gradle and npm

- knowledge in TLS certificate configuration and deployment

- interest and knowledge in web security standards
