Do you enjoy changing difficult problems into precise solutions? On behalf of our client, a British electrical and telecommunications retailer I’m currently looking for a skilled SAP Consultant. You will join a new team supporting SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) delivery and maintenance of existing interfaces where modern architecture approaches and technologies will become your daily bread. As a contractor via CoolPeople your main task will be creating and supporting reusable services for all internal and some external systems to allow much needed data exchange in a vast enterprise network. About the role
- integrate various SAP (Cloud and NetWeaver) and non-SAP applications using SCPI and other custom toolsets
- learn using live documentation and integrate it
- migrate older integrations into SCPI using modern techniques and tools and learn a lot in the process
- understand different data structures using integration standard components (REST, SOAP, JMS, JDBC, SFTP etc.) and use them to integrate diverse systems together
- cooperate closely with the Integration Architects, Solution designers and other team members and share successes and blockers using Jira/Confluence
- communicate with our colleagues from different parts of the world

Your ideal profile

- some SAP CPI/HCI development experience and SAP systems knowledge
- either JavaScript or Groovy scripting experience
- experience with XML/XSDs, CSV, JSON standard formats
- cooperation tool knowledge (Jira/Confluence)
- ability to understand and express ideas/requirements clearly within the team and across different teams and departments
- English B2
