About the role
- participate in and provide quality-oriented insights into team’s scrum ceremonies
- promote QA best practice and ways of thinking within your scrum team
- communicate with Solution Experts, developers and understand customer needs, priority, business value, and technical implementation
- review customer needs, user stories and bugs from a QA/testing point of view and translate your understanding into high standard test cases
- execute test cases in test environments, log bugs, record test results, and communicate outputs of your testing back to the team
- monitor results of automated tests and work with Automation team and Test Analyst on their improvement
- promote the team practice that leads to effective bug resolution and increased quality of development and processes

Your ideal profile
- basic knowledge of testing types 
- overview of most common SDLCs – Waterfall vs. Agile, DevOps,
- familiarity with principles of agile testing
- not afraid of test automation, keen to use tools such as JMeter or Selenium
- ability to use project and test management software such as VSTS or Jira
- familiar with principles of API testing including tools such as Postman, Fiddler or Swagger
- HTTP, XML, JSON, CSS
- SQL, Oracle
- English on an upper-intermediate level both in verbal and written form
- Scrum, QA Methodology, Desktop / mobile testing, Automation, DB querying

Nice to have
- experience in a similar role 
- university degree in IT or similar
