SAP Migration Project Manager (33713)

I am seeking an experienced SAP Migration Project Manager who will join existing SAP team of my client and will lead organization's critical SAP migration project. This project involves migrating of current SAP R3 system from AWS infrastructure to SAP RISE, a cloud-based SAP solution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SAP migration projects, a deep understanding of SAP technologies, and proven project management skills. Big plus is a proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, experience in budget management and also Cloud certifications from leading providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

🚀 Project
- collaboration with the existing SAP team to develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget
- defining of project goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- creation of migration strategy that minimizes disruptions to business operations
- providing of guidance, mentorship, and support to team members throughout the project
- keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and issues
- addressing concerns and resolve conflicts as they arise
- identification of potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the SAP team
- proactive monitoring of project risks and implement contingency plans when necessary
- ensuring of compliance with security and data protection requirements throughout the migration
- implementation of quality control processes to validate the success of the migration in coordination with the SAP team
- conducting post-migration testing to ensure that all systems are functioning as expected
- maintaining of detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation related to the migration process
- providing of regular progress reports to executive management and project stakeholders


🎯 Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- proven experience managing SAP migration projects, including SAP RISE or similar cloud-based solutions
- strong understanding of SAP technologies, architecture, and best practices
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred
- excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in project management tools and software
- strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- advanced SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Professional or SAP Certified Technology Associate
- Cloud certifications from leading providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- direct experience with SAP RISE or similar SAP cloud offerings

- international experience, especially in managing global projects or diverse teams
- vendor management experience, particularly with SAP or other technology vendors
