Software Engineer (42219)

We are looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer with strong overlap into architecture and technical leadership. In this role, you will design and develop enterprise applications, define architecture (MVVM/MVI), and solve complex challenges at the OS level, including concurrency and IPC. You will lead by example through code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance. The position requires 8+ years of experience with native Android, deep knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android Jetpack, and advanced components such as AIDL or Content Providers. You will also focus on performance, security, and scalability while delivering end-to-end solutions and working closely with backend systems.

🚀 Project
- design and develop Android applications (enterprise solutions) at a senior tech leader / architect level
- solve the most complex technical challenges at the OS level, including concurrency and IPC
- define application architecture (MVVM/MVI) and establishing best practices
- conduct code reviews, mentoring, and providing technical leadership to the team
- deliver end-to-end solutions (design → implementation → testing → release)
- integrate with backend systems (REST APIs)
- optimize performance (CPU, memory, battery)
- work with advanced Android components (services, AIDL, IPC)
- resolve customer issues on a deep technical level
- ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance, and scalability

🎯 Skills
- 8+ years of experience in native Android development
- expert knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android OS internals, and Android Jetpack
- strong experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming
- experience with application architecture (MVVM or MVI), including designing and refactoring complex applications
- advanced knowledge of Android lifecycle, services, and Foreground Services
- advanced knowledge of AIDL and Content Providers
- experience with secure coding (encryption, secure communication)
- experience with REST API integration and unit testing
- strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- experience with mentoring and technical leadership (no people management required)

💡 Nice to have
- exposure to full-stack development: ReactJS, Node.js, Spring Boot
- experience with NFC, BLE, or other proximity technologies
- knowledge of Android Enterprise, MDM, and EMM
- experience with SSO implementations (OAuth2, SAML)
