Data Engineer (44002)

We are looking for a senior Data Engineer with a strong software-engineering background to build reusable components and frameworks for modern data solutions in Microsoft Azure. You will enable other engineering teams through standardized platform capabilities. The key combination is Python, Azure, Data Engineering and DWH.

🚀 Project
- develop reusable Python components and frameworks for data acquisition and delivery
- improve data-ingestion and delivery frameworks, pipelines and orchestration
- standardise validation, metadata handling and delivery logic for engineering teams
- support data quality, governance and metadata-management capabilities
- collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and engineers
- help other Data Engineers adopt shared platform components and engineering standards

🎯 Skills
- strong Python programming skills with software-engineering and reusable-component experience
- solid Data Engineering and Data Warehousing experience
- hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in modern cloud data environments
- production data-pipeline and orchestration experience
- modern engineering practices including reusable code, testing and maintainability
- understanding of data governance, data quality and metadata management
- strong English communication skills and ability to work independently
- experience in banking or another large regulated enterprise
