System Engineer (36258)

Are you well-versed in Microsoft and Linux Virtualization interfaces? I'm seeking a skilled System Engineer to provide expert support to our team. Responsibilities include ensuring seamless server infrastructure operations, deploying and optimizing new virtualized server infrastructure, as well as actively progressing our technological landscape in terms of architecture, security, and compliance. You'll also be actively involved in the automation of complex workflows. Proficiency is required in Windows client and server operating systems, Active Directory DNS, GPO, PKI, RDS, Failover Clustering, MSSQL, and ISS. Virtualization, backup, networking, storage, and scripting/programming skills are essential. Fluency in German and English is required (C1 level). 🚀 Project
- support the team with knowledge of Microsoft and virtualization interfaces to Linux and network operations 
- ensuring the trouble-free operation of a complex server infrastructure (error analysis and troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation)
- deploying, configuring and optimizing new virtualized server infrastructure
- active further development of the landscape in terms of architecture, security/hardening, compliance and standardization 
- automation of more complex workflows with suitable script or programming languages
