Systems Engineer (40911)

I’m looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who isn’t afraid to dive deep into infrastructure. You’ll help design and optimize a Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) platform, enhance dataplane performance, and work with technologies like C++, MongoDB, ZFS, VMware, and AWS. Expect hands-on work on critical parts of the system — from data migrations to API modernization. 🚀 Project
- work on the architecture, maintenance, and optimization of Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) infrastructure
- focus on dataplane performance, protection workflows, and support for VMware and AWS environments
- design and implement scripts for virtual machine ID migration
- ensure data consistency across MongoDB databases and the ZFS file system
- modernize API endpoints, improve performance, and eliminate system bottlenecks
- develop incremental replication logic, troubleshoot snapshot and protection task stability issues
- support testing, diagnostics, and C++ code refactoring for more reliable operation
- research and benchmark alternative file systems (e.g., btrfs)

🎯 Skills
- deep understanding of systems engineering at the file system and C library level
- experience with data transfer between virtualization platforms (VMware, AWS)
- advanced knowledge of low-level engineering, profiling, parallelization, and concurrency
- experience with MongoDB, ZFS, API development, C++, and modern programming practices
- ability to analyze and optimize system performance and ensure data integrity during transfers

💡 Nice to have
- familiarity with file systems such as ZFS and btrfs and their practical applications
- experience with testing and diagnostics in virtualized environments
