DevOps Engineer (42490)

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer ready to take ownership of cloud-native infrastructure? You will design and manage scalable IaC solutions using Terraform and Terragrunt, build robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and work extensively with Kubernetes and Helm. I expect strong experience in cloud environments, scripting in Python or Go, and a deep understanding of microservices. 🚀 Project
- own an IaC foundation by architecting, implementing, and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
- design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for fast, safe, and reliable deployments
- design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes workloads including Helm charts, sidecars, and batch jobs
- support a microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies
- implement and enhance security controls, replication strategies, and monitoring services
- ensure compliance with Deutsche Telekom standards
- collaborate with development teams on building and configuring cloud-native applications
- optimize Dockerfiles and application runtimes

🎯 Skills
- 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience in a cloud-native environment
- expert-level hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
- deep knowledge of Kubernetes (API, object model) and experience with Helm
- extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI
- strong scripting or programming skills in Python or Go
- solid understanding of software development lifecycles and build processes
- proficiency with Git and experience in agile environments
- professional programming/scripting experience in Python or Go
- in-depth understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices
