Technical Consultant (43045)

I am looking for a Technical Consultant who will be responsible for analyzing and designing secure Single Sign-On solutions within a hybrid Microsoft environment. I expect strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, as well as the ability to define target-state architectures and support end-to-end implementation.

- providing technical consultancy and project support for the design and implementation of secure SSO integration
- analyzing the existing hybrid Microsoft cloud-based SSO environment
- evaluating integration options including SAML, OpenID Connect, and ADFS
- defining and recommending the target SSO architecture
- supporting the design and implementation of authentication and identity management solutions
- testing SSO integration and validating solution functionality
- supporting deployment of the solution into the production environment
- collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams throughout the integration lifecycle

- strong understanding of SSO concepts and architecture
- experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
- knowledge of Federated Authentication principles and implementations
- experience integrating third-party web applications into SSO environments
- hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- knowledge of Microsoft Hybrid Identity environments
- experience with Azure Cloud services related to identity and authentication
- strong understanding of SAML authentication protocol
- strong understanding of OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- experience with ADFS-based authentication mechanisms
- strong focus on IT Security principles and best practices
- experience implementing and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- experience with Conditional Access policies
- understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models
- knowledge of Claims-based Authentication concepts
- experience with Certificate Management
- understanding of authentication redirect flows and token-based authentication flows
- experience supporting secure production deployments
- ability to analyze existing architectures and identify improvement opportunities

- experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
- exxperience testing integrations, including Functional Testing, Security Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- experience managing and communicating with stakeholders

- Vendor Management experience, including coordination with external providers such as EaseScreen
- fluent English or German (spoken and written)
