Python Developer (43991)

We are looking for a Python Developer to develop and integrate internal and external platforms in an international financial-markets environment. The role is hands-on and focused on Python, SQL and API integration rather than research or model development. We expect independence, solid software-engineering experience and English at C1 level.

🚀 Project

- development and integration of internal and external platforms and connection of existing models to APIs and other systems

- most quantitative models are already in place; the focus is on development, integration and platform support

- work in a small international team with regular communication with business stakeholders and analysts

- hands-on development role with a high level of independence

🎯 Skills

- excellent Python programming skills

- professional software-engineering experience using Python

- solid understanding of quantitative concepts or a degree in Mathematics is an advantage

- experience with relational databases, e.g. SQL Server, and writing SQL queries

- English at C1 level

💡 Nice to have

- exposure to financial products such as Rates, FX, Credit, Equities or Commodities

- familiarity with data-pipeline tools such as Airflow, Spark or kdb+/q

- understanding of data quality, controls and compliance in a regulated environment
