About the role

- develop fully functional modules that meet all the specifications and have successfully passed all tests including unit, integration, regression and system tests

- liaising with the Design authority to ensure all new components fit within the guiding principles

- ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards

- conducting peer reviews and providing constructive feedback

- providing support during SIT, QA and UAT test phases

- diagnosis and resolution of defects found during SIT, QA and UAT test phases

- support regression testing

- build reusable code and libraries for future use

- ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

 

Your ideal profile

- bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

- 7 years of working with core JavaScript and development experience of web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and less /sass

- 3 years of hands-on experience with AngularJs 1.x and Angular 2.x+ or equivalent framework based applications (Angular, React, SPA)

- ability to manage communications across multiple regions and significant time-zone gaps

- estimation level of effort required to develop code that meets acceptance criteria

- responsibility for the technical implementation of changes

- mentor more junior team members

 

Nice to have

- an eye for design; motion or graphic design experience

- open-source JavaScript libraries and utilities (RxJs, NgRx, lodash, etc.)

- Typescript

- writing build scripts using Node, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc.

- understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

- developing new user-facing features

- familiarity with browser testing and debugging

- Git and Agile workflow

- experience working on Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1)

- unit testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, Jest
