DevOps Engineer (31112)
Are you a senior DevOps Engineer with practical experience in the use of monitoring tools and a good level of German and English? On this position you will perform important tasks along the entire implementation process and contribute significantly to the setup and ongoing optimization of a CI/CD chain. You will be responsible for automated, script-based application deployment and configuration on server systems, system analysis and design performance and you will suppport developers as well. - automated, script-based application deployment and configuration on server systems (Windows and Linux)
- supporting developers to improve stability and supportability of SW and infrastructure
- contribution to the establishment of DevOps topics
- system and SW operations, measurement and monitoring
- planning and execution of upgrade and migration activities
- participation in capacity planning, architecture, configuration and configuration management of cloud-based on/off premise system landscapes
- design, implementation, testing and monitoring of networks
- system analysis and design performance
- development and execution of unit and module tests
- creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- analysis of defects and incidents along all deployment stages
- participation in the coordination of cross-team analysis and troubleshooting activities
🎯 Skills
- completed IT education/min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT
- min. 2 years of DevOps experience
- involvement in implementation, administration, maintenance and optimization
- practical experience in the use of monitoring tools relevant to the area of responsibility (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos)
- experience with build, test and continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and supporting tools
- demonstrated project experience with agile approach models in a DevOps role
- ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, flexibility, initiative and personal responsibility
- technical understanding and analytical skills
