Application Owner (43721)

I am looking for an Application Owner to manage and operate a critical platform in an enterprise environment. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate technical teams, and ensure smooth incident resolution. The role requires experience in application support, Linux knowledge, and the ability to work with multiple technologies such as Elasticsearch, databases, and Kubernetes.

🚀 Project
- manage technical administration and day-to-day operation of the xTrace platform
- monitor platform health, system events, and logs
- perform initial troubleshooting and incident investigation
- coordinate specialists across Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL/Oracle, IBM MQ/Kafka, Linux, Kubernetes, and infrastructure
- communicate with vendor support, raise tickets, and provide diagnostics
- coordinate releases, upgrades, deployments, and testing activities
- manage or coordinate backup/restore, data purging, and data capture interfaces
- adjust platform configuration (e.g. Elasticsearch shards, interfaces)
- deploy platform packages or coordinate deployments
- follow incidents through resolution, including documentation and escalation

🎯 Skills
- experience in application operations, application support, or platform operations in enterprise environments
- practical knowledge of Linux (processes, filesystem, logs, troubleshooting)
- ability to read and analyze application and system logs
- working knowledge of technologies such as Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or Oracle, IBM MQ or Apache Kafka, Kubernetes or Docker
- understanding of network connectivity, firewalls, and TLS
- understanding of backup and recovery processes
- experience with release and change management
- strong incident management and escalation skills
- ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and communicate with external vendors
- strong ownership and ability to drive issues to resolution

- experience in banking or payments environments
- experience with monitoring or observability platforms
- deeper knowledge of Elasticsearch (cluster health, indexes, shards, snapshots)
- Kubernetes operational experience
- experience with transaction or end-to-end monitoring
- vendor management or third-party coordination
- ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management experience
- responsibility for business-critical production applications
