Data Engineer (42676)

I am looking for a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and modern data lake / lakehouse solutions on Azure. You will work on batch and streaming ETL/ELT processes using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks, develop data models for BI and analytics, and ensure data quality, performance, and reliability. The role requires strong SQL, Python or Scala skills, and experience with Azure data services in a collaborative environment.

🚀 Project
- design and implementation of batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks or similar tools
- building and maintaining data lake / lakehouse solutions on Azure (Data Lake Storage, Delta Lake)
- development of data models and curated datasets for BI and analytics use cases
- optimization of data pipelines with focus on performance, reliability and cost efficiency
- implementation of data quality checks, monitoring and alerting
- collaboration with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable solutions

🎯 Skills
- strong SQL and data modeling skills
- experience with Azure data services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse)
- proficiency in Python or Scala for data engineering
- solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and best practices
