Data Governance Consultant (43532)

Are you an experienced Data Governance Consultant with strong Collibra expertise? In this role, you will not only work hands-on with the Collibra platform, but also help define how data governance operates across the organisation. You will design operating models, set up processes, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. I expect solid experience with Collibra, data governance frameworks, and the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams in a banking environment.

🚀 Project
- configure and manage Collibra Data Intelligence Platform including communities, domains and asset models
- manage business glossary, data ownership roles (Data Owner, Data Steward) and Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
- design and implement workflows, automation, roles and permissions in Collibra
- handle metadata ingestion, lineage (business and technical) and data quality integration
- work with APIs, integrations, dashboards and reporting within Collibra environments (DEV / TEST / PROD)
- define and implement data governance operating model across the organisation (central vs federated)
- define roles and responsibilities across Data Office, business domains and technology teams
- design processes such as domain onboarding, CDE lifecycle, glossary governance and metadata certification
- establish governance forums, escalation paths, KPIs, training and adoption strategy
- create target operating model, RACI and roadmap for implementation
- collaborate across business, data, risk and technology teams in a regulated banking environment

🎯 Skills
- 7–10+ years of experience in data governance or metadata management
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra implementation and configuration
- experience with enterprise-scale Collibra implementations
- strong knowledge of data governance concepts (Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Custodian)
- experience with business glossary, metadata management and Critical Data Elements
- knowledge of data quality and business/technical data lineage
- strong understanding of data governance in banking environment
- knowledge of regulatory requirements (especially BCBS 239)
- ability to work across business, data, risk and technology domains
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- experience facilitating workshops and creating documentation
