Go Engineer (43208)

We are hiring a Go Engineer to develop a self-service environment management platform supporting multiple engineering teams. Your work will include designing resource allocation, leasing, orchestration, and coordination mechanisms for shared infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Go concurrency, distributed-system design, high availability and consistency principles, API development, Postgres-backed services, REST APIs, and background processing patterns.

🚀 Project
- build a self-service platform that provisions and manages shared test and lab environments on demand
- generalize an existing internal Go service into a product-agnostic resource-management platform used across multiple engineering teams
- design and implement distributed control loops and DB-backed coordination primitives including pooling, leasing, capacity-aware allocation, distributed locks, and semaphores
- build resource-management APIs and business-logic layers for provisioning, leasing, and releasing environments under concurrent multi-replica access
- orchestrate provisioning and end-to-end test pipelines across a shared fleet

🎯 Skills
- strong Go including goroutines, channels, context, and the sync package
- solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrent design
- ability to reason about correctness under concurrency and mutual exclusion in multi-replica deployments
- experience with distributed-systems design for high availability and consistency
- API and business-logic design for interfaces consumed by other engineering teams
- experience with Postgres-backed services using GORM or similar
- experience with REST APIs
- experience with reconciler/controller-style background processing
