Jamf Pro Consultant (43479)

I'm seeking a Jamf Pro Consultant. You'll take part in technical validation, application compatibility testing, rollout planning, and phased deployment while preparing the environment for the end of x86 application support. I'm looking for strong hands-on experience with Jamf Pro, DDM, configuration profiles, FileVault, MFA, Secure Enclave, and enterprise macOS security. Knowledge of Apple Silicon migration and WWDC enterprise features is a plus.

🚀 Project
- technical preparation, validation, and rollout of macOS 27 Golden Gate within an existing Jamf Pro environment
- testing compatibility with the new macOS version and planning the rollout across the managed environment
- preparing for the end of support for x86 applications and assessing the impact on existing systems and applications
- evaluating and implementing new enterprise and identity features, including Platform SSO and Declarative Device Management (DDM)
- assessing new administrative and security features of macOS 27 for suitability in productive use
- supporting implementation, rollout planning, testing, and documentation of the new macOS version and related capabilities

🎯 Skills
- strong knowledge of macOS administration, Jamf Pro, and enterprise macOS management
- experience with macOS upgrade planning, enterprise rollouts, pilot deployments, phased rollouts, and compatibility testing
- hands-on experience with Platform SSO, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Touch ID, and Secure Enclave
- experience with Declarative Device Management (DDM), Jamf Configuration Profiles, device management, and policy management
- strong understanding of enterprise security, FileVault authentication, and privacy and permission management
- experience with technical evaluation, testing, documentation, and architecture assessment

💡 Nice to have
-  knowledge of ARM migration, x86 compatibility assessment, and Apple Silicon transition
- experience evaluating and implementing new Apple enterprise features, including Declarative App Configuration, Declarative Identity Management, and binary allow/deny policies
- experience with WWDC enterprise features and assessing their suitability for enterprise environments
- experience with user communication, migration planning, and operational readiness
- strong analytical thinking and documentation skills
- ability to prepare technical recommendations and provide technical consulting
