ServiceNow Consultant (43125)

I am looking for a ServiceNow ITAM Consultant to take ownership of Software and Hardware Asset Management within the platform. You will design and implement asset management processes, manage license tracking and drive compliance across the organization. The role includes working closely with stakeholders, configuring integrations and delivering reporting dashboards. I expect hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, strong focus on SAM and the ability to communicate in German in both business and technical contexts.

🚀 Project
- ownership of ITAM workstream covering Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management
- gathering and structuring requirements from stakeholders related to software licensing, hardware inventory and asset lifecycle management
- designing and implementing software normalization processes within ServiceNow
- configuring manufacturer integrations for automated software recognition and catalog enrichment
- building and managing license position tracking to ensure accurate view of entitlements versus consumption
- driving software compliance processes and supporting remediation workflows
- implementing Hardware Asset Management processes including procurement, receiving, deployment and retirement
- designing and delivering reporting and governance dashboards for asset visibility, compliance and cost tracking
- coordinating with stakeholders to validate configurations and align on priorities
- documenting design decisions and asset management processes for knowledge transfer

🎯 Skills
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- proven hands-on experience with IT Asset Management, strong focus on Software Asset Management
- German at a communicative level for business and technical discussions
- ability to gather and structure business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions

💡 Nice to have
- CIS-SAM certification (Certified Implementation Specialist — Software Asset Management)
- experience with Hardware Asset Management processes and workflows
- knowledge of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP)
- familiarity with software recognition tools and publisher catalog management
