QA Engineer (35358)

I am looking for QA Engineer to drive manual tests for user stories within agile iterations, focusing on interfaces and technical functions using web applications and RESTful services. You'll create, maintain, and document test cases, ensuring their accuracy, and collaborate closely with product owners, requirements engineers, and developers. Your role includes estimating and planning test efforts, supporting reported defects, and conducting release tests. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of testing experience, proficiency in Confluence, Jira, or Postman, and familiarity with XML, HTTPS, TLS and ZIP. Experience with MS-SQL and Oracle is preferred, along with knowledge of SEPA and SWIFT payment formats. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and proficiency in German is a plus. 

🚀 Project
- developing, supporting and carrying out, testing service manual tests of user stories in agile sprints interfaces using technical clients based on RESTful services and testing technical functions using web applications
- creation, maintenance and documentation of test cases for user stories, management of test cases and test sets and the development, creation and maintenance of test data
- ensure that the required test constellations are queried, and the results checked
- creation and maintenance of documentation for recurring regression tests of the application
- coordination, documentation, feedback of central test specifications to the development team
- control and monitoring of test specifications
- effort estimation and planning of test efforts in the course of agile refinement dates
Supporting reported defects and incidents with test cases
- carrying out release tests for releases in different test zones

- coordination with product owners, requirements engineers and developers

🎯 Skills
- min. 4 years of experience in application testing and in developing test cases including test analysis
- soft skills
- experience with agile process models
- Confluence, Jira or Postman
- experience with technologies and standards such as XML, https, TLS, ZIP
- MS-SQL and Oracle
- knowledge of various SEPA and SWIFT payment formats creates positive understanding
- business banking experience (MBS or EBICS standard)
