Product Owner (43722)

I’m looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a banking/payment project focused on domestic SEK and international payments.You’ll be responsible for translating payment-related business requirements into features and backlog items, prioritizing the product backlog, and leading refinement and planning sessions. Strong knowledge of Swedish payment systems such as Bankgirot/BGC, RIX-INST and RIX-RTGS, SEK clearing and settlement, SWIFT/MT/MX and ISO 20022 is essential.

- owning or supporting a banking/payment platform responsible for domestic SEK and international payments
- translating payment-related business requirements into features and backlog items for development teams
- prioritizing the product backlog and leading refinement and planning sessions
- coordinating delivery across developers, testers, UX, Risk/Compliance teams, banks, and clearing partners
- working with SEK payment processing, clearing and settlement, SWIFT/ISO 20022 messaging, FX, reconciliation, APIs, and payment regulations
- working within the project/domain area

🎯 Skills
- strong knowledge of Swedish domestic payment systems, particularly Bankgirot/BGC, RIX-INST and RIX-RTGS
- strong understanding of SEK clearing and settlement
- experience with SWIFT and MT/MX messaging
- good knowledge of ISO 20022 and end-to-end payment processing
- experience as a Product Owner with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe
- experience with backlog management, refinement, sprint planning and prioritization
- understanding of PSD2, AML/KYC and Swedish payment regulations
- knowledge of FX in payment processing and payment reconciliation
- understanding of banking and FinTech technology environments
- knowledge of APIs used for payment initiation and reporting
- strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with Risk/Compliance and external banking and clearing partners
- ability to work effectively with developers, testers, UX and other delivery teams
