SQL Administrator (22479)

Do you have some database experience and would you like a chance to show it off? I'm looking for an ambitious SQL Administrator, ideally with knowledge of DB2. As a Database Admin you will maintain and monitor a database on a public cloud. You will join a skilled team of 4 ss a permanent contractor and together you will take care of customers from various fields. About the role
- monitor database activity and file usage
- removing or deleting old or obsolete files
- maintaining database on a public cloud (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- develop complex data retrieval queries and optimizes data queries within programs
- analyze and determine informational needs and elements
- recommend and implement course of action based on analyses
- install, implement and support complex systems within user base

Your ideal profile
- information systems or equivalent field of study, or 2 years related IT experience
- two or more years of experience in database design or maintenance
- experience working with software installation / upgrading procedures
- knowledge of file and system maintenance procedures
- database creation techniques and database management systems (DBMS)
- performance modeling and benchmarking skills and relational databases
