LLM Software Engineer (44178)
Ready to take Large Language Models from prototype to production? For a biomedical data analysis and visualization platform, we are expanding the team with an LLM Software Engineer who will integrate AI and LLM capabilities into tools used by pharma and biotech companies in early research and drug discovery – from prompt engineering and RAG pipelines to agentic workflows. Required are 3+ years of experience integrating and deploying LLMs / AI systems and strong skills in Python or TypeScript.
🚀 Project
- integration of AI and LLM capabilities into biomedical data analysis and visualization platforms
- focus on integration and production deployment of existing LLMs rather than training proprietary foundation models
- end-to-end development of AI functionality including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and agentic workflows
- advanced LLM integrations for complex biomedical data analysis
- solutions used by pharmaceutical and biotech companies during early research and drug discovery
- Python/backend or TypeScript/frontend focus depending on your background
🎯 Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience integrating and deploying LLMs / AI systems
- experience integrating AI into complex software applications
- strong experience with at least one AI/LLM ecosystem:
- Python track: Python, Pydantic AI and/or LangChain or comparable frameworks
- TypeScript track: TypeScript, AI SDK and/or AG-UI or comparable frameworks
- end-to-end AI/LLM solution development
- prompt engineering, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
- advanced LLM integration concepts: MCP, agents / sub-agents, streaming, latency and cost optimization, evals, AI security and privacy
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- ability to mentor junior colleagues
- English C1
