Technical Analyst (43604)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to support application modernization and migration in the area of statutory and regulatory reporting within a banking environment. You will analyze legacy applications, data flows, batch processes, database logic, and integration interfaces, while preparing technical specifications and supporting implementation. Strong COBOL, SQL, and relational database experience is required, together with experience in complex enterprise applications. Very good German and English are also required.

🚀 Project
- analyze and modernize existing legacy applications in the area of statutory and regulatory reporting within a banking environment
- combine technical analysis with hands-on development and support the transition to a modern application architecture
- analyze existing applications, data flows, batch processes, database logic, and integration interfaces
- prepare technical specifications and participate in the implementation of changes and migration of solutions
- analyze source code, dependencies, and the impact of technical changes
- maintain complex legacy and enterprise applications
- collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Managers, Developers, architects, infrastructure teams, and operations teams
- work independently within a complex enterprise banking environment
- contribute to a Technical Analysis, Development, and Application Modernization project

🎯 Skills
- strong practical experience with COBOL
- several years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Software Developer, Application Analyst, or Technical Consultant
- experience with analysis and maintenance of complex legacy and enterprise applications
- very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- experience with batch processing, data flows, and integration interfaces
- ability to analyze source code, dependencies, and the impact of technical changes
- experience with technical documentation and preparation of technical specifications
- ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment
- German and English at C1 level
