Data Modeller (44175)

Star schemas, fact and dimension tables and SCDs are your everyday toolkit? The application development team of a global advisory firm, building solutions mainly for clients in the US and Germany, is looking to fill the role of Data Modeller focused on healthcare data. You will design and maintain dimensional data models using the Kimball methodology, optimize complex SQL queries and model healthcare Encounters data within a data warehouse / lakehouse environment. Key are strong hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling, advanced SQL and a background in healthcare data (claims, member, provider).

🚀 Project
- design and development of scalable, analytics-ready data architectures and data warehouses for reporting and analytics
- dimensional data models using Kimball methodology (star schema, snowflake schema)
- modeling healthcare Encounters data aligned with business and regulatory requirements
- collaboration with data engineering, BI and analytics teams on implementation in the warehouse / lakehouse
- data quality checks, gap analysis, data profiling and documentation (data dictionaries, mapping specifications)
- senior development team with a start-up atmosphere inside a large corporation
- contract CP for 12 months, practically full remote (occasional workshops in Prague), availability 10:00–18:00 CET

🎯 Skills
- strong hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling techniques
- advanced SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, debugging)
- healthcare industry experience, with specific knowledge of Encounters data
- experience working with claims, member or provider data in a healthcare payer or provider setting
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams
- English C1

💡 Nice to have
- familiarity with healthcare data standards and claims processing workflows
- experience with payer/provider data structures
