Database Engineer (42525)

Become part of a role focused on maintaining and optimizing Postgres database systems in a high-availability environment. As a Database Engineer you will manage installations, upgrades, and migrations, ensure system reliability, and implement backup and recovery processes. The position involves performance tuning, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with development and operations teams. You are expected to bring at least 3 years of Postgres administration experience, deep understanding of its architecture, and Linux knowledge. Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations are required.

- administration, operation, and maintenance of Postgres environments
- design, implementation, and optimization of database architectures
- planning and executing installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching of Postgres DB
- monitoring performance and tuning Postgres databases
- implementing backup & recovery strategies
- troubleshooting database issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions

- supporting high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) configurations
