Security Engineer (41407)

I am looking for an experienced Security Engineer who will take a key role in protecting infrastructure that runs AI workloads at global scale. You will design and implement multi-layered security for microVM-based environments, safeguard highly sensitive customer workflows and ensure exceptional performance under strict latency requirements. The role offers deep technical challenges, hands-on work with linux kernel security and responsibility for enterprise compliance. - securing infrastructure where billions of AI agents execute untrusted code every day
- protecting customers’ most sensitive AI workflows while maintaining sub-200ms performance
- designing and building defense-in-depth security for Firecracker microVM infrastructure
- implementing real-time threat detection across tens of thousands of concurrent sandboxes
- ensuring compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements
- solving novel security challenges in the AI agent execution domain

🎯 Skills
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade security infrastructure
- strong experience securing large-scale distributed systems
- deep expertise in linux security primitives such as seccomp, eBPF and namespaces
- hands-on experience with container security and microVM hardening
- proven track record with compliance frameworks SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR
- ability and willingness to implement kernel-level security controls
- strong security mindset focused on defense-in-depth architectures
- ownership mindset and proactive approach in a fast-moving startup environment

💡 Nice to have
- proficiency in Go, Rust, C or TypeScript
- experience building or operating real-time threat detection systems at scale
- prior experience with Firecracker, microVMs or sandboxed execution environments
- background in securing high-performance, low-latency systems
- experience working in high-growth startups or hyperscale infrastructure teams
