Java Developer (42224)

Take part in the development of a new electronic trading platform within the Markets department of a bank. This is not a standard Java backend role — we are looking for engineers who understand technology at a deep level and can build solutions with a strong focus on performance, low latency, and technical correctness. In this role, you will design and implement backend solutions, optimize algorithms, and work closely on architectural decisions. You should bring senior-level Java experience, deep knowledge of JVM and concurrency, and the ability to clearly communicate and contribute to technical design discussions.

🚀 Project
- develop backend components for a new high-performance, low-latency Java trading platform
- design and implement solutions with a deep understanding of the memory model, data representation, threading, and CPU-level behavior
- implement and optimize algorithms running on the critical path of the application
- contribute to technical design discussions and help drive architectural decisions within the team
- write clean, production-grade code with a strong focus on performance and correctness

🎯 Skills
- senior-level experience in Java backend development
- deep understanding of Java internals — memory model, collections internals, JVM behavior, core

APIs
- strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrent programming, and performance optimization
- solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity
- strong communication skills — ability to explain technical ideas and contribute to design discussions
- English at C1 level

💡 Nice to have
- background in electronic trading, capital markets, or another low-latency / high-performance domain
- experience with C or C++ in high-frequency trading, gaming, or audio processing
- strong learning mindset and drive to go technically deeper
