Java Platform Engineer (43213)
We are looking for a Java Platform Engineer to join our client’s team and help evolve their equity valuation infrastructure. You will design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, containerised technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and modern engineering practices. The role requires strong experience with Java SE 8+, object-oriented design principles, database fundamentals, and the ability to support teams in adopting new technologies.
🚀 Project
- evolution of the equity valuations infrastructure platform
- design, development and improvement of software solutions providing business, platform and technology capabilities
- supporting platform deployment and platform architecture improvements
- delivering scalable, maintainable and performance-optimized software solutions
- collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies
- contributing to code quality, knowledge sharing and technical excellence
- supporting adoption of new technologies, best practices and standards
- working on complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems effectively
🎯 Skills
- practical experience with guiding and supporting teams in the adoption of new technologies
- experience with containerised technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Core Java SE 8+ experience in a commercial environment
- experience with Spring ecosystem
- experience with XML processing
- experience with multi-threading and messaging
- experience with JDBC
- experience with Hibernate
- deep understanding of design patterns
- knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- knowledge of database design fundamentals
- English at C1 level
