Are you a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for maintaining data integrity and optimizing warehouse environments? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you. Your responsibilities will include administering, configuring, patching, and upgrading both Relational and NonRelational databases. Utilize advanced configuration management tools to ensure seamless database operations. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, as well as implementing backup and recovery methods, is crucial. I seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in IT, at least 5 years experience, and proficiency in English. Expertise in MongoDB and MS SQL Server, along with flexibility for on-call shifts, is crucial for optimizing database performance in our dynamic environment.

🚀 Project
- maintaining data within a warehouse environment supporting delivery of quality data outputs
- administer, Configure, Patch, Upgrade Relational and NonRelational DBs (Mongo and MS SQL server)
- knowledge and experience with configuration management tools
- monitoring database performance, conduct regular performance tuning, optimize queries for maximum efficiency
- understanding of ETL processes and related tools
- understanding of data platform best practices to achieve economies of scale, cost reduction and efficiencies
- backup and recovery methods
- migration of databases from legacy systems to cloud data platforms

🎯 Skills
- at least Bachelor degree (IT field of study
- min. 5 years of experience as DBA
- English – good written and verbal as we work with international teams on daily basis
- Mongo DB and MS SQL Server
- flexibility to participate in on call rotation shift
