SAP QM Consultant (40920)

I am looking for a SAP QM Consultant to support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of product master data, including materials, BOMs, routings, and variant configuration. You will translate business requirements into SAP-compliant objects, ensure integration across MM, PP, SD, and VC, and assist with data migration and testing. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and fluent English and German, with industry experience as a plus.

🚀 Project
- support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of product master data (materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, variant configuration)
- conduct technical feasibility checks for customer-specific product requests and translate them into SAP-compliant data objects
- perform requirement engineering: capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into data and process models
- contribute to the integration of SAP standard processes across MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), and VC (Variant Configuration)
- ensure proper integration with MES systems and consistency across data objects
- assist in data migration, validation, and testing during SAP transformation projects
- collaborate closely with business experts, IT, and production to ensure consistent end-to-end data flows

🎯 Skills
- degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or Business Administration with focus on process optimization, supply chain management, or digital transformation
- 3–5 years experience in SAP master data management or process optimization projects
- hands-on knowledge of SAP modules: MM, PP, SD, and advanced Variant Configuration (aVC)
- familiarity with typical SAP transactions (MM01–03 for materials, CR01/CR02 for work centers, Class 300, aVC)
- strong analytical skills, imagination, and ability to translate real-world processes into consistent data objects
- team-oriented, strong communication skills, willingness to take ownership
- high level of independence, accountability, and flexibility
- fluent English and German
