QA Lead (40595)

I'm looking for a QA Lead with strong hands-on experience in automated testing and a deep understanding of performance-critical environments. You’ll lead a distributed QA team working with tools like pytest, GoogleTest, and Selenium, and ensure developer tools integrate seamlessly without slowing down builds or IDE performance. 🚀 Project
- lead QA strategy and execution in a performance-critical game development environment
- work hands-on with automated testing frameworks (pytest, GoogleTest, Selenium)
- manage distributed QA teams and coordinate testing efforts across time zones
- perform testing within AWS-based environments
- ensure all testing validates that code intelligence tools do not degrade build, compile, or IDE performance
- drive large-scale integration testing for complex codebases and build systems
- collaborate with engineering and DevOps to align QA with development workflows
- attend workflow shadowing sessions to understand how tools integrate with actual development pipelines
- monitor and mitigate performance regressions introduced by new tooling
- develop and enforce real-time and platform-specific test strategies as needed

🎯 Skills
- 6+ years of experience in QA engineering
- hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g. pytest, GoogleTest, Selenium)
- familiarity with testing in AWS environments
- leadership experience managing distributed QA teams
- performance impact testing experience—able to confirm tooling does not slow down build or IDE workflows
- understanding of large-scale integration testing for complex systems
- awareness of developer expectations around performance and responsiveness

💡 Nice to have
- gaming-specific performance testing methodologies
- experience with real-time system testing
- knowledge of platform-specific testing practices
