Tester (22223)

To expand our client‘s already existing IT team, I‘m looking for an experienced Software Tester to be responsible for designing and running tests. As a permanent contractor you’ll conduct automated and manual, functional, regression and system tests to ensure the software is fit for its purpose and any bugs or issues are solved. You should be result-driven, have good communication skills and up-to-date knowledge of software tests design and programming skills mainly in Java. About the role
- meet with business users to understand the scope of the projects
- review software requirements and prepare test scenarios
- document test cases
- execute tests on software functional and non functional requirements
- analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs and usability
- prepare reports on all the aspects related to the software tests carried and create JIRA tickets for all issues and bugs
- interact with business users to understand product requirements

Your ideal profile
- up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
- working knowledge of test techniques
- knowledge of programming, Java is advantage and scripting in Python or Groovy
- excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- good organizational skills and detail oriented mindset
- knowledge of RDBMS e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL(e.g. Casandra)
- some knowledge of cloud, MS Azure is preffered
- good knowledge of CI/CD
- fluent English

Nice to have 
- experience with energy market projects
- working knowledge of Java
- good knowledge of scripting in Python or Groovy
