PowerBI Consultant (43545)

I’m looking for a Power BI Consultant who understands not only reporting, but also data and data modelling. You’ll analyze the existing Power BI environment, troubleshoot stability and performance issues, gather requirements from the business, and determine where business logic should best be implemented — in Power BI or in the underlying data layer. Knowledge of SQL, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, dimensional modelling, or Microsoft Fabric is an advantage. 🚀 Project
- analyzing existing Power BI reports, datasets, data models, business logic, and data flows
- communicating with business users, gathering requirements, and translating them into specific changes
- troubleshooting, stabilizing, and optimizing existing Power BI solutions
- assessing whether business logic should be implemented directly in Power BI or moved to the underlying data layer
- designing suitable solutions with a focus on performance, stability, and long-term reporting maintainability

🎯 Skills
- senior hands-on experience with Power BI
- advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query
- experience with Power BI data / semantic modelling
- hands-on experience maintaining and developing existing Power BI solutions
- experience with requirements gathering and business analysis
- direct communication with business stakeholders
- experience with troubleshooting, stabilizing, and optimizing reporting solutions
- ability to independently analyze problems and design effective solutions
- professional proficiency in German for direct communication with users and stakeholders
