I’m looking for a Head of IT to develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with business objectives. You will oversee trading applications, database architecture, and IT infrastructure while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with REMIT, MiFID II, and GDPR. I expect strong expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and database management. A background in energy trading or financial markets is highly valued. 🚀 Project
- develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals
- oversee development and maintenance of trading applications and database architecture
- ensure security, scalability, and high availability of trading platforms
- manage IT infrastructure including cloud, networks, and databases
- implement strong cybersecurity measures
- ensure compliance with REMIT, MiFID II, and GDPR
- manage vendor and stakeholder relationships
- drive digital transformation including automation and AI solutions
- lead and mentor IT team, fostering innovation
- collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to optimize systems
- oversee IT budgets, procurement, and resource allocation

🎯 Skills
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field
- minimum 7 years in IT leadership, preferably in energy trading or financial markets
- strong knowledge of trading platforms, market data feeds, and energy trading regulations
- expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management
- experience in database management and optimization
- experience with cloud-native apps, big data, analytics
- strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- experience with ETRM systems
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
