SAP FI/CO Consultant (42595)

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with at least 5 years of practice to join a role focused on administration, support, and further development of SAP FI and CO modules. You will be responsible for analysis, design, customizing, and implementation of finance and controlling requirements, as well as coordination of external vendors and support of closing processes. The role also includes collaboration across SAP modules (MM, SD), participation in SAP projects, and involvement in testing, documentation, and user support (2nd and 3rd level). Strong SAP FI/CO knowledge, ABAP understanding, project management experience, and fluent German and English are required.

🚀 Project
- administration, support, and further development of SAP FI and CO modules in daily operations
- analysis, design, and implementation of requirements in the area of finance and controlling
- customizing in SAP FI/CO including documentation creation
- collaboration with developers on solving complex programming tasks
- close cooperation with related SAP modules (MM, SD)
- coordination and management of external vendors, including support of budget responsibility for the FI/CO area
- ensuring stable execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in cooperation with business departments
- leading sub-projects or taking responsibility for the implementation of defined FI/CO processes
- participation in SAP projects (rollouts, process optimization, etc.)
- creation of functional concepts, technical specifications, and user documentation
- planning and execution of testing, integration testing, and UAT testing
- user support within 2nd and 3rd level support
- continuous optimization and standardization of finance and controlling processes
- transfer of expert knowledge to users and colleagues
- assessment of integration of new subsystems into the overall SAP architecture from an FI/CO perspective
- evaluation of new legislative and regulatory requirements and their implementation into SAP FI/CO

🎯 Skills
- at least 5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO Consultant or SAP Inhouse Consultant
- very good knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, ideally with focus on CO
- knowledge of related SAP modules MM and SD and their process interdependencies
- advanced knowledge of debugging and programming in ABAP
- experience in project management and methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, Agile)
- advanced knowledge of MS Office
- English at B2 level
- German at B2 level
