Performance Tester (44352)

Have you been load-testing web applications and APIs with Python? A project in an international pharmaceutical environment is looking for a Performance Tester who will design and run load tests that model realistic concurrent-user behavior and evaluate their impact on the infrastructure in AWS. Strong experience with Python, Locust or Apache JMeter, REST APIs and Amazon CloudWatch is required.

🚀 Project
- Performance testing of web applications and APIs
- Load, stress, scalability, endurance and baseline testing
- Modeling realistic concurrent-user behavior
- Translating business workflows into performance-test scenarios
- Interpreting AWS infrastructure metrics during load tests
- Correlating response degradation with resource behavior (DB connections, ECS CPU/memory, application errors)

🎯 Skills
- Strong Python programming experience
- Writing clean, reusable Python scripts for testing and automation
- Experience with Python HTTP/API libraries and JSON processing
- Understanding of concurrency and application workload simulation
- Hands-on experience with Locust (highly preferred)
- Experience with Apache JMeter or a comparable performance-testing framework
- Strong understanding of REST APIs – HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication, payloads and API dependencies
- Working knowledge of Amazon CloudWatch
- Familiarity with Amazon ECS, Amazon RDS and Application Load Balancer (ALB) is a plus
- English C1
