As a SAN Storage Administrator you will be responsible for installation, dismantling and maintenance of all devices in the storage area, supervision of storage virtualization, SAN zoning and more. 🚀 Project
- installation, dismantling and maintenance of all devices in the storage area
- supervision of storage virtualization
- physical cabling in the SAN and storage area
- SAN zoning
- support at operating system level (Windows, Linux, VmWare, ...) from system administrators
- documentation of all relevant components
- monitoring of the relevant parts of the infrastructure, performance and the proper implementation of the stratégy
- maintaining desired performance and redundancy goals, implementation of the strategies
- participation in planning the future evolution of the storage systém
- participation in the automation of individual activities
- identification of sources of error in existing concepts and cooperation in rectifying them
- planning and execution of tests to check the validity of existing or newly developed strategies
