Lead AI Engineer (42420)

The Lead AI Engineer role focuses on building an advanced Contact Center Diagnostic solution powered by AI. You will lead the design and implementation of GPT-based summarization, RAG pipelines and benchmark intelligence capabilities. Strong experience in prompt engineering, vector databases and frameworks like LangChain is expected, along with leadership skills and Azure knowledge. You will drive technical direction, mentor teams and collaborate across stakeholders to deliver scalable, AI-driven insights.

🚀 Project
- development of Contact Center Diagnostic solution focused on AI-assisted summarization, AI-augmented diagnostics and AI-driven engagement efficiency
- integration of GPT-based summarization for generating narratives from diagnostic results and uploaded xls data with human oversight
- implementation of benchmark intelligence to compare client KPIs against industry benchmarks and identify performance gaps
- leveraging structured data and historical insights for advanced diagnostics and reporting
- enabling AI-powered generation of baseline reports and ROI calculations within a web-based diagnostics platform
- reduction of manual effort and turnaround time through automation and AI-driven workflows

🎯 Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, applied data/AI engineering or related field
- proven experience in a lead role with technical ownership, mentoring or leading teams and initiatives
- experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- proficiency in prompt engineering
- knowledge of vector databases and embedding models
- experience with LangChain and LangGraph
- experience with FastMCP
- experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Functions
- ability to work with large datasets including cleaning, transformation and manipulation
- experience with version control, small commits, unit testing, CI/CD, packaging and Docker
- strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- ability to define technical direction, review designs and code and elevate team standards
