Infrastructure Expert (39235)

I'm looking for an Infrastructure Expert to join the team in Switzerland. In this role, you'll provide end-user support, manage hardware, oversee LAN infrastructure, and assist with data center migration. Your tasks will include VMware administration, system backups, and handling incidents using the ITSM tool. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and network technologies. Fluency in English (C1) is required. 🚀 Project
- maintenance of IT activities from level 1 to level 3 support (end-user support, end-device support, LAN infrastructure management of the data center at the work site in Switzerland)
- hardware management (inventory, collection, distribution, device preparation for end users)
- management and support of end-user devices
- handling local IT support requests and incidents using the ITSM tool
- participation and assistance in the on-site data center migration project
- administration of VMware virtualization software
- system administration including backups, security, user account management, internet access, MS Office (O365) support, and Active Directory
- maintenance of operational, configuration, and technical documentation
- verification of the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
- reviewing system and application logs, verifying completion of scheduled tasks (e.g. backups)
- performance optimization, hardware upgrades, and efficient resource utilization
- hardware configuration, performance monitoring, and system issue diagnostics
- maintenance of the data center environment and monitoring equipment
- regular security and operational monitoring

🎯 Skills
- proven knowledge of VMware virtualization software
- proven experience with Windows/Linux servers including Active Directory administration
- knowledge of FC SAN and network switches
- familiarity with backup software
- working knowledge of current communication devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies
- ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously
