Automic Consultant (43250)

I am looking for a Senior Automic Consultant for a part-time engagement focused on post-upgrade support and optimization of an enterprise Automic platform. You will perform health checks, optimize performance and provide architectural guidance while enabling internal teams through knowledge transfer. The role requires strong Automic expertise, experience with enterprise environments and the ability to work independently.

🚀 Project
- post-upgrade support and assessment of Automic (CA Workload Automation AE) platform
- execution of health check including architecture, Automation Engine settings, WP/JWP configuration, performance, scalability and resilience
- analysis of logs, errors and alerts with delivery of risk assessment and prioritized recommendations
- review of configuration and design standards (object structure, naming conventions, security, authorization model)
- identification of quick wins and definition of target configuration
- performance optimization (execution queues, agent utilization, bottlenecks, database interaction)
- assessment of hybrid cloud readiness including architecture, integration, security and operational impact
- architecture and design sparring, validation of decisions and modernization recommendations
- delivery of knowledge transfer through workshops, coaching and best-practice documentation
- support internal team enablement and reduction of dependency on external support

🎯 Skills
- senior/expert-level experience with Automic (CA Workload Automation AE) in enterprise environments
- experience with latest Automic versions (AE 24+)
- strong knowledge of Automation Engine, WP/JWP configuration and system parameters
- hands-on experience with performance tuning (execution queues, agents, database interaction)
- experience with hybrid on-prem and cloud setups
- knowledge of security and authorization models in Automic
- ability to lead workshops, coaching sessions and knowledge transfer
- experience working in enterprise environments (ideally banking or financial sector)

- knowledge of cloud strategies and hybrid reference architectures
- experience with large-scale Automic upgrades or migrations
- understanding of regulated environments (banking, finance)
