Cybersecurity SW Engineer (40821)

Do you have experience in secure software development and a deep understanding of cybersecurity for critical systems? I'm looking for a Cybersecurity Software Engineer to develop secure software components in line with international standards. You’ll work with technologies like Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, applying your knowledge of secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability testing.

🚀 Project
- design, development, and implementation of secure software components
- implementation of automated security testing frameworks and execution of regular vulnerability assessments
- collaboration with cybersecurity experts and teams focused on sovereign use across the EU/UK
- ensuring software compliance with international cybersecurity standards
- supporting integration with European quantum communication and infrastructure initiatives
- contributing to continuous improvement in software assurance, security testing, and system resilience

🎯 Skills
- EU citizenship
- proven experience in cybersecurity software development
- strong understanding of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
- experience with at least one major programming language (Java preferred)
- hands-on experience with automated testing, performance and security testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- knowledge of virtualization and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- experience working in Agile (SCRUM) environments
- excellent English communication and collaboration skills across international teams
- English proficiency at C1 level

💡 Nice to have
- experience with cybersecurity standards or space system security
- familiarity with quantum key distribution or quantum networking concepts
- experience in secure communications for defense, aerospace, or critical infrastructure projects
- experience with DevSecOps, penetration testing, or ISO/IEC 27001 compliance
- knowledge of C++ and Python
