ServiceNow ITOM Consultant (43124)

I’m looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Consultant who will lead Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives, taking ownership of the solution from design through implementation and delivery. I’m looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM, particularly Discovery and Service Mapping, as well as the ability to collaborate with customer stakeholders, improve CMDB data quality, and define governance standards. Communicative German is essential for working closely with business and technical teams. 

🚀 Project
- leading Discovery and Service Mapping activities within the ITOM workstream
- owning the scope, planning, and delivery of Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives
- assessing CMDB health and defining a roadmap for data quality and reconciliation improvements
- designing and implementing Discovery configurations to ensure accurate CMDB population
- building and maintaining Service Maps reflecting application dependencies
- implementing Dynamic CI Groups and Patch Compliance capabilities in ServiceNow
- defining and enforcing CMDB governance standards and configuration management processes
- collaborating with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and validate Discovery outcomes
- coordinating with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure complete Discovery coverage
- documenting Discovery designs, patterns, governance processes, and handover documentation

🎯 Skills
- practical hands-on experience with the ServiceNow ITOM module, including Discovery and Service Mapping
- german language skills at a communicative level for technical and business discussions with customer stakeholders

💡 Nice to have
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- CIS-DIS certification (Certified Implementation Specialist — Discovery)
- experience with CMDB governance frameworks and configuration management processes
- background in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- knowledge of network topology and infrastructure discovery patterns
