Quickwork Platform Engineer (44153)
We are expanding a team delivering a large-scale integration project in the telecommunications domain and are looking for a Quickwork Platform Engineer – the go-to expert on the Quickwork platform who turns the defined architecture into working integrations. The role covers workspace setup, designing journey templates for Integration Developers, training the team and handling escalations when the platform does not behave as expected. We require at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Quickwork (Callable and Scheduler Journeys, API Management, NodeJS App step), OAuth2and async integration patterns on iPaaS platforms.
🚀 Project
- large-scale integration project in the telecommunications domain built on the Quickwork iPaaS platform
- role at the intersection of the Technical Lead (architecture, security) and the Integration Developers (implementation)
- ownership of the Quickwork workspace setup (Dev, UAT, Production) and journey patterns for the whole team
- designing the journey template standard, including error handling, together with the Technical Lead
- reviewing and productionising the Gateway Token validation reference implementation (JWT/JWKS)
- training and pair programming with Integration Developers, escalating platform issues to Quickwork support
🎯 Skills
- 3+ years on the Quickwork platform with delivered production integrations
- Callable Journeys, Scheduler Journeys and event-driven trigger patterns, journey execution context and passing data between steps
- API Management module: endpoint configuration, path prefixes, mapping to Callable Journeys, authentication profiles, rate limiting and access control
- NodeJS App step: JWT parsing and validation, JWKS fetching with caching, header manipulation
- Databases by Quickwork for per-session state storage
- Connections and Credentials: OAuth2 Client Credentials, HTTP Basic, API Key, custom auth and credential rotation without breaking live journeys
- Constants and multi-environment configuration (Dev, UAT, Production), journey versioning and deployment
- error handling patterns: global error handlers, step-level error branches, retry logic, dead-letter patterns
- async integration patterns (request/poll, webhook callback), idempotency, correlation IDs, 202 Accepted, pagination
- OAuth2 Client Credentials flow implemented from scratch on an iPaaS
- OpenAPI 3.0 and implementing APIs against standards-defined schemas (TMF or equivalent)
- performance optimisation of journeys and diagnosing execution errors from logs
- ability to run training sessions and write clear journey design patterns
- English at least B2
💡 Nice to have
- TMF Open API (TMF622, TMF645, TMF673)
- MEF Sonata (MEF87, MEF121)
- experience with API gateway environments and gateway token structures
- Quickwork certified partner status or experience directly at Quickwork
- integrating Quickwork with Salesforce CommsCloud, Google Maps or AWS S3
